Unbeknownst to me I first met Jenny + Jason at one of our weddings (a co-worker of Jenny's). The a few weeks later, this couple decided to invite Elegant Affairs on their planning journey.
This was just simply a fun wedding to plan and working with Jenny + Jason made it just that much funner.
What I loved most abut this wedding was the venue Maroni Meadows. This newer venue is located in Snohomish and Owner Deni and her family sure have a beuty on their hands. I was with Jenny when we first got a glimpse of this unique venue. I still remember pulling up and I could see Jenny's face and knew that this was it. We really lucked out that day because a rare August Saturday had just opened up and Jenny decided to book it without Jason seeing it. To her credit she knew he would love it and yes he did. We sold him on the pond and joked that he could go fishing on wedding day, since Jason loves fishing.
Once the venue was locked down, we went to work nailing down all the vendors and creating this couple's vision.
Jenny knew she wanted a few things, including lavender and incorporating their love of the Seattle Seahawks into their wedding. And yes we accomplished all of those from lavender down the aisle to the couples naming their tables after their favorite Seahawk players.
This August night couldn't have been more perfect, from the glittered microphones (aka spoons), S'mores bar, photobooth and being serenaded by the bride's brother and family for their first dance commemorating that it took 10 years to get to wedding day.
Then truly came a happily ever after for Jenny + Jason when their welcomed their son Hudson into their family.
