MET GALA. Not going to lie, this year's Met Gala kinda blew my mind. As someone who loves to sew and design clothes (i'm no Versache, but I do know my way around a sewing machine) it was clear to see these designs were thoughtfully designed, and certainly took months to create. Most of these works of art should really be placed directly in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, since they are all A-mazing!
This year's theme was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. Expecting most dresses to resemble the Tin Man, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw glamorous gowns gracing the red carpet, while staying true to the theme. Each designer took their own personal spin on 'Technology', which was so fun to see!
Some of the dresses on Monday evening even stood out to me as potentially draw dropping wedding gowns. What if your wedding dress actually glowed!? Claire Danes's dress did. Or image twirling around all night in a cape (preferably the floral frock Blake Lively rocked). From a sleek start white gown to a dreamy tulle skirt, consider becoming inspired by these bold looks!
