Bridal Shower Love for Summer 2017

There is more than one special event leading up to the big day, and one of the most important of these is the bridal shower. For everyone celebrating the happy couple beforehand, here a few bridal shower ideas that you might see more of next summer!

Mimosa bar. When choosing the type of beverage you’d like to serve at the shower, grapefruit, peach, or any other fruit juice you desire can be a fun option accompanying your classic mimosa. Mimosa’s are great for bridal showers offering brunch or an early afternoon lunch.

Plain glass bottles. A fun DIY project for bridal shower table décor is enhancing plain glass bottles by painting them or covering them in glitter. Since gold will be one of the main accents of the 2017 summer season, painting the bottles gold will be a wonderful accent on bridal shower tables and sure to be seen across tables everywhere.

Incorporate the bride’s flower choice. When choosing flowers, carrying the theme from the pre-party to the special day will be trending. Incorporating the bride’s flowers into bridal shower décor will get the bride excited to tie the knot.

Flower chandelier. Using the same variety of flowers that will be seen on the day of, arranging a beautiful adornment of flowers to be hung from a chandelier is a stunning way to incorporate the bride’s chosen flowers. We’re hoping to see a lot of flower chandeliers next summer, as they are an easy decoration to make and such a stunning addition to any party.

Tea party feel. Something we may be seeing during the spring 2017 wedding season are smaller, garden party weddings. During the summer wedding season, larger wedding parties will be back in full swing, therefore making the bridal shower the perfect platform to showcase the adorable garden party scene. Tea party elements such as tea cups, tiny cookies, and fresh wildflowers will capture that enchanting secret garden atmosphere.

If you were unsure about bridal shower décor, we hope a glimpse of what’s to come will spark some creativity for you. We can’t wait to see how all the guys and gals choose to celebrate their bride and grooms in the months leading up to the wedding!
