The best compliment we could ever receive is when a bride reaches out shortly after being a bridesmaid at one of your weddings asking if you can be her wedding planner. And that’s exactly what Corinne did for her December wedding.
We first met Corinne six months before her big day and we were so excited to help plan her wedding while she was living down in Florida. We had the best time planning along with the bride’s mom to assemble the best vendors to accomplish their vision.
The theme for the wedding was a Winter Wonderland which was a little tough not to go Christmas when your wedding is only a few days after the holiday and when your venue is already decorated. We worked with the venue to have them take down a majority of their decor only leaving their giant tree removing almost all the ornaments and it was the perfect decor piece.
Knowing the wedding vision we immediately knew that Shane with Oak + Fig Floral would be the perfect florist to knock it out of the park and boy did he. The only hiccup in the design process for the ceremony set-up was dashed when the venue didn’t allow for live trees so quickly we came up with plan b and that would be to take the original vision and tweak it. So instead of trees Shane make his own trees out of branches which I think turned out way more beautiful.
Along with the stunning ceremony set-up, Shane and his crew flowered the stunning winding staircase which was the perfect entrance for the bride to walk down the aisle.
After a great ceremony, guests were escorted downstairs while upstairs was transitioned into what we called a night in the winter wonderland.
This day was just so perfect and what a great way to celebrate this fabulous couple before heading back down to Florida.
