The best part of our job is working with couples planning the wedding of their dreams and throughout the process learning about them but in the case of Lauren + Jake we already knew them even before we started working with them.

I was honored enough to be Lauren's sorority advisor when she was at Washington State University and we were lucky enough to get the call when the love of her life, Jake finally proposed.

This couple has know each other since junior high and finally decided to say I Do at Dairyland.

For their wedding they wanted to be that fun garden party and with the backdrop of this beautiful Snohomish venue we accomplished that. 

We loved how this day played out and even more excited to see what these two can accomplish as husband and wife.

From the first moment I met Taryn at the Seattle Wedding Show I knew I had a lifelong friend and I had the pleasure of working beside her for the next 15 months in helping her create her wedding vision.

An interior designer by trade, we were tasked to take all of the bride's beautiful ideas and make them a reality.  For Taryn, her wedding inspiration were ginger jars. The blue and white decorative design was perfect for her venue. We incorporated the blue white color palette and added in a splash of blush for the bridesmaid dresses. 

To accent the beautiful ceremony space that we transformed for the reception. Taryn wanted to bring in greenery which balanced so perfectly with the brick walls and flooring.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding besides the groom's grandfather officiating the ceremony was the dessert table by Better Than a Boyfriend Bakery which was highlighted by the Norwegain Kransekake baked by the bride's father.

Shortly after their wedding, Taryn's Maid of Honor/Younger Sister Tatum go engaged and turned to us to help with her wedding day. We cannot wait for their wedding in 2 weeks.
