You never know just how small our world is until it hits you. For me it didn’t take long in my first conversation with Jess that we indeed knew each other as I served as her sorority advisor at WSU several years back.

Another instance of how small our world truly is when her and Nick showed up to one of my weddings only 3 weeks before their said their I Dos. It was so much for them to see us in action before their big day and to hang out.

I loved working with Jess for so many reasons. She was so organized especially in her décor plans. She provided us with a great photo binder oh how she wanted her centerpieces set-out for her romantic themed wedding complete with drippy candles, lush floral and greenery.

One of my favorite highlights of their wedding was the display of family dresses. It was truly a beautiful testament to their moms, grandmothers and great-grandmothers to share their stunning gowns.

Melissa + Connor were high school sweethearts then college sweethearts to finally getting engaged.

We were so honored to be asked to help coordinate her big day after Melissa was a member of our EA Team for several years and we have been dreaming of her day for probably as long as she has.

There were so many special elements about this day and one of those was when Melissa + Connor lighting the same unity candle as her parents used in their own wedding.

For their big day, our couple wanted a nautical inspired wedding with a navy blue, white and blush wedding color palette.

The main desire request for the bride was a hydrangea floral garland on her head table and that’s what TLB Events created on the sequin rose gold sequin table linen.

The reception table design was very unique including several color/textured table linens and we fell in love with the navy blue + white striped napkins and two chairs cover colors.

As the sun set, the bride and groom celebrated with their guests and were even delighted to see a ferry boat as their backdrop, completing a perfect nautical wedding.

It always means so much when a bride reaches out to you right after they get engaged and you are the first vendor they select. Well that was the case for Jessica + Adam. I have know Jessica for many years as I was her sorority advisor while at Washington State University (Go Cougs!).

I love when I get to be part of the whole process from selecting the venue to vendors to helping with the overall design of the wedding. I even loved being part of the wedding dress process which is always one of my favorite aspects of my job. And her dress had pockets!! Let me tell you how much the pockets were useful for this bride on her wedding day.

Jessica was so organized it wasn’t even funny. Knowing she wanted a Fall themed wedding she started accumulating décor nearly a year before (the gorgeous white ghost pumpkins for instance).

It was all those little touches that truly made this wedding special. This wedding had so many surprises including from the officiant with his rendition of the ceremony scene from The Princess Bride (If you have seen the movie then you know exactly what I am talking about). One of the major highlights was the gorgeous wedding cake made by the bride’s sister and the delicious cupcakes. This was a major showstopper of the wedding.
