I've said it a million times and I'll continue to say it -- saying "Yes" the day Michael proposed was the first easiest and best decision I've made -- hiring Lisa with Elegant affairs was the second easiest and best decision I made for our wedding!!! I had gone to a wedding that Lori with Elegant Affairs did the year prior and it was the smoothest flowing wedding I had ever been too and I've been to over 30 weddings in my 26 years of life! These ladies and their timeline are the piece to the puzzle every wedding needs!!!! Lisa not only kept me sane throughout the planning processes but she made my elegant wedding vision come to life!!! During this last year when I would mention to someone that we had a wedding/day of coordinator their response was always, " I wish I would've had one for my wedding." And I don't know how people don't have one!! I seriously just couldn't imagine not having Lisa this last year and especially that day!!! Leading up to the wedding Lisa never said no to my vision even when I had my own doubts. She assured me even our short set up time before our ceremony was doable! She executed my elegant wedding dream so perfectly!!! If there was a hiccup in that day I had no clue and never knew about it, just as every bride should be! I was able to enjoy the day and it sure was a beautiful and emotional day! Lisa has become more than our wedding planner over this year, she has become a friend to Michael and I and we can't thank her enough for everything!

Michael and Mollee were one of those couples where you felt an immediate connection right off the bat. I really hit it out of the park with these two! From the very beginning, they were such a dream to work with and was extra special having the privilege knowing some of their closest family and friends, as well as sharing common interests like our favorite vacation spots and everything baseball. Michael being the baseball player that he is, knew Mollee was the greatest catch, so it was time they plan their future together as husband and wife. Despite their very busy schedules with Mollee traveling as a flight attendant, Michael's work, baseball schedule, as well as amazing vacations, they made planning easy and fun putting all of the details together over the course of the year.

Living in the heart of downtown Tacoma, Michael and Mollee wanted to get married somewhere close to home and at one of the most beautiful venues on the Tacoma waterfront, the historic maritime museum, Foss Waterway Seaport. We were able to transform the look and feel of the museum into a classic and elegant wedding for both their ceremony and reception. Strong in their values and beliefs, they wanted to show how important it was to keep God at the center of their marriage, so they stood hand in hand in front of the most beautiful wooden cross Mollee's dad built as their backdrop, while their family pastor performed their ceremony.  Surrounded by their nearest and dearest friends and family, the night went on and it was a very memorable reception for all. From satisfying their sweet tooth with the delicious array of mini bites at the dessert bar, to busting out a choreographed dance or two, Michael and Mollee never stopped smiling or embracing their love for one another. Contacting Lori was the very first 'to do' on my list, post saying "YES!" to an epic marriage proposal. I had known Lori personally for a few years and was SO excited to work with her more closely, get to know her better and have her lead the wedding planning charge for our special day. Lori is worth more than GOLD! She is over the top experienced, personable, smart, very professional and super fun! Many times, throughout our months of planning and prep, my parents, in-laws and friends would share with me how amazing, knowledgeable and how happy they were that Lori was such a huge part of this process and I couldn’t agree more. She listened to every vision I had and every change I wanted to make then did everything in her power to make our wedding day unbelievably perfect. I am honored to call her my wedding planner and my friend! Hiring Lori will be your second BEST decision, after deciding to get married of course!

You know you will always remember your wedding anniversary when it also falls on your birthday! No better way than to ring in a new decade as you celebrate turning the big 3-0 than marrying the love of your life.

I have known Sheila for several years as I served as her sorority (Alpha Phi) advisor at Washington State University and then her younger sister aka Maid of Honor Jenny was an intern on our team a few seasons ago.

But first I have to set the scene and tell you how amazing Nick and Sheila’s parents are. The first time I met up with everyone was at their menu tasting and they each brought their own wine and I was like this is going to be an incredibly fun and memorable wedding. And I wasn’t wrong!

Working together for nearly 19 months we really got to know each other better and I got to learn about Sheila + NIck as a couple and how special their relationship is and just how strong their love is and that was truly put at the test when Sheila’s mom was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo both cancer and treatment just a few months before the wedding. Wedding planning can be a stressful and emotional thing not to mention throwing in a medical scare but I think this just made everyone closer and stronger. I can attest to what a strong fighter this Mother of the Bride is and how she kicked cancer’s ass. I am so very proud of you! You are such an inspiration.

What I loved most about this couple was their attention to detail. From their signage to florals, linens and dessert choices these two were passionate about everything including their wine and beer selections. May I remind you they are both Cougs so this was probably the biggest and most important decision.

There were so many highlights from this day. From the dress that had a removable train to give 2 different looks all from that 1 dress to the couple playing rock paper scissors to see who read their vows first during their first look this day is one that I will remember for the rest of my life and truly one of my all-time couples and weddings.

I love how this family has started their own wedding tradition all originating from Sheila and Nick. Nick’s sister is getting married this fall on her fiance’s birthday just like her brother! What a great tradition and I hope it goes on for generations to come.

Kris and Adrian a very genuine, fun, lovable, adventurous pair, wanted their wedding to represent both of them as individuals as well as a couple.They envisioned spending their wedding day with those most important to them, those closest to their hearts, many whom traveled near, some from out of state, and even as far as Romania! The plan was to deviate from the traditional wedding to a more modern, simple yet beautiful celebration. Located on the Tacoma waterfront, we transformed the private residence of Kris's parents' home to allow for their garden ceremony and backyard reception. Our couple chose to have a more intimate ceremony, performed by Kris's best friend, surrounded by only their immediate families and a couple of their dearest friends. With a few happy tears, and lots of laughs, their sweet and meaningful ceremony was sealed with a kiss and followed up with a celebratory champagne toast from the father of the bride. Shortly after, Kris and Adrian's friends would be arriving to celebrate the newlyweds for a more leisurely, relaxing evening together. Cheer-sing over the many delicious wines from all over the world, sampling the array of heavy appetizers, taco bar, and mini cupcakes, the best was yet to come! As the night came to an end, Kris, Adrian and their guests moved inside of the home for all to enjoy one of the biggest and most memorable grand exits. Forget the sparklers, instead the skies opened up, and displayed one of the most amazing light shows with over 1200 strikes, the largest lightning storm in Washington State history! You could say Kris and Adrian's special day definitely ended with a bang!
