Tell Us About Your Company: I second-shot my first wedding when I was just 17 years old - crazy! It's been a long, wonderful journey, and I am happy to be heading into my 4th wedding season in the Pacific Northwest in 2016. I moved to Seattle with my (now) husband from Virginia in 2012 & haven't looked back! 

What Do You Love About Being A Wedding Photographer?: I love getting to tell the story of my couples' wedding days. One of my favorite reviews from a bride was that when she looked at their photos she could remember how she felt in that moment. That is perfection in my mind! 

What Is Your Advice to Couples Looking For A Wedding Photographer?: Be honest to yourself about what your looking for in your photographs (& in your photographer - I'm going to be hanging out with you all day, after all!) 

What's Your Favorite Part Of A Wedding?: This is a tough one! There are so many reasons to love each part of a wedding day; I still find myself getting teary-eyed during the first dance, jumping up & down during "Shout!" but I also love stealing my couples at sunset to get a few portraits of them - Often times we've done the majority of photos before the ceremony, before they are even actually married, so it feels like a little gift to both myself and to them to have a quite minute away from the festivities and soak in their joy. 

Describe Your Personal Style When It Comes To Your Craft?: I often describe my style as fresh, romantic and timeless. I love to create beautiful images & sometimes that is through posing a portrait, but oftentimes it is through capturing the little moments of emotion throughout the day - all of the little details that add up to the happiest day of your life! I tend to be more of a "fly on the wall", letting the day unfold, but capturing all of the important moments as they happen. I'm fairly petit (measuring in at about 5'2...) but I use that to my advantage zipping around the dance floor & squeezing into tight spaces! My editing style is bright & crisp, something that you will delight in looking back on in 20, 30+ years.

Tell us about The Nines?                                                                                                                                                                                                                           The Nines are a super fun and rowdy dance band.  The Nines specialize in weddings, high end corporate events and some casinos.  Our job is to get the dance floor going and keeping it going for the entire reception.

What makes your company stand out?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        We absolutely love everything about what we do.  We have music for all ages at an event.  We play everything family friendly and The Nines a 100% non drinking band.  We want to be sure to do the best job we can do!

 Advice to couples when selecting their wedding entertainment?                                                                                                                                                                       Pick a band that looks like a lot of fun and does a huge variety of songs.  Your guests will all have a wide variety of musical tastes and you want the band to play something for everyone.  Also choose a band that has both male and female vocals so they cover a large range of songs.  
Describe how you work with your clients to create their perfect wedding via sound?                                                                                                                                     Before the event I work very closely with them to know the age groups they will have.  Once the event has begun its very easy to tell what the audience will respond to.  Mostly the advice I give to the clients is…  Hire a very good and experienced wedding band that you trust. That way you can have the time of your lives, no worries about wether your guests are having a good time or not.
