TreeHouse Point has been on my bucket list ever since I started Elegant Affairs and I only had to wait 13 years to plan with a beautiful elopement of Megan + Ryan.

I was so excited when I first spoke with Megan about her plans to “elope” with Ryan along with both of their parents. The couple who is from Dallas saw the venue online and decided it was the most romantic spot. The decision to elope was very personal and I wanted to make their day the most special it could be.

Their ceremony and all parts of their day was a true testament to the love of one another and of those who have passed including the bride’s brother who used parts of his shirt as ribbon for her bouquet and for Ryan’s boutonniere.

Following photos at The Falls, the newlyweds along with their parents celebrated with a beautiful dinner at Salish Lodge. We re-purposed the lovely greenery from the ceremony to the dining table to make it a festive sweetheart table before returning back to their TreeHouse for their wedding night.

I wish I had more time with these two dynamic people before they headed back to Dallas but we are so excited that very soon they will be welcoming a baby girl into their lives and we are over the moon for them and their family. What a lucky little girl

2018 Year in Review

What a year 2018 was! Hard to believe its all over and we are still trying to process it before we fully tackle 2019.

Here are just a few of  2018 highlights:

• We celebrated our 200th Wedding!

• We traveled to Cabo, Mexico for not 1 but 2 weddings!

• We took a girls trip with a few of our favorite vendors to Montana for 2 epic editorial shoots.

• We planned our first editorial shoot that turned into a real life elopement

• We styled 7 editorial shoots!

• We were featured in 11 different print and online publications

Here are a few of our goals for 2019:

• Plan a very fun elopement in a never before done location (if you are game, hit me up)

• Book a very International Wedding (hello Australia?)

Personally this is the year for me as I turn the big 4-0 so in other words, hello 2019 I am so excited to see what you have in store!!
