When an out of state couple calls you about helping them plan their destination wedding in the bride’s home state at one of our favorite venues it’s a no-brainer. We first stated working with Dallas-based couple Craig + Genevieve we had our work cut out for our with planning their dream wedding in less than 6 months.
For any other couple it might have been a daunting task but not for these two. When given tasks or posed questions they were so quick to answer which is any planner’s dream. The couple was able to come visit about three months out and there is no way you would believe me what all we accomplished, especially with the one day I had them. From our very involved planning meeting to a tasting, then venue walk-through to finding the perfect officiant, the day was just perfect.
By far my favorite detail of this wedding was the invitation. An artist friend of the couple’s handrew the church where the couple exchanged their I Dos. The drawing was used as their welcome sign and table numbers. It was the perfect accent piece.
