And we are off....another Wedding in Mexico!

And just like that we are off to Mexico!

It’s so crazy how we have wanted to do more destination weddings (INTERNATIONALLY) and we lucked out but going down to Mexico for the second time in nine months. This time we are celebrating with Nic + Kylee.

We met the bride over two years ago when she served as the Maid of Honor of another wedding of ours and we just stayed in touch and then I got the email that she was engaged and wanted to chat about her destination wedding.

It was fitting that when we went down last February for our Todos Santos Wedding (make sure to come back on Thursday to see more from Blake + Allie’s Wedding) that we were able to take a day trip down to Cabo and tour the couple’s wedding venue. When we walked down to the site I was first blown away by the view and what all this resort had to offer.

Now it’s just hard to believe that nearly 14 months of planning has led to this day.

Back to School: This Mom's Journey

Today is the day I have been waiting for! It's the first day of school! Finally my boys are reunited at the same school (yet only for one year). I cannot believe I have two middle schoolers. (I don't even want to address the fact that Grant will be in high school next year).

This is a bittersweet day for sure. I am over the moon we are back into a routine and they are reunited with their friends but on the other hand it is a big milestone in their lives that my boys are growing up and becoming young men. So I do everything we can to treasure this time because before we know it they will be off to college, moving out and getting married.

We really rocked out Summer 2019. We had such a fun summer with a lot of activities including a family trip to Lake Chelan, Grant travelling to D.C. for a school trip and Jackson and I took an overnight trip to Vancouver B.C., his first time to Canada.

For the boys they are looking forward to a big year, both academically and in sports . Today marks the first day baseball tryouts for their middle school and I pray they make the same team.

I joke when people ask me if I am ready for school to start that the moment the boys get on the bus at 6:40am I will have popped a bottle of Champagne. In reality, I am crawling back in bed. I have cleared my schedule for the day to just have a Mom Back to School Day. Something I highly recommend to all moms.
