What would you do when your dream wedding was threatened to be canceled less than 10 days before? That’s exactly what nearly happened to Christina + Shane for their March celebration.

When news started emerging regarding COVID-19 and its effects, Christina and I started having the tough conversations on what it meant for her wedding at The Kelley Farm. From daily chats and calls with Christina, her venue, and vendors the decision was made to still have their wedding no matter what restrictions were in place. Then it was announced weddings could still be held, but with several restrictions including a guest count no larger than 50 guests (including vendors). So the next step was notifying guests who were invited to the smaller celebration, which was no easy task going from 171 to 41 guests. I just have to say all of their guests and vendors were such rockstars handling everything which made moving forward that much easier.

Due to a family member who couldn’t attend and who was also scheduled to make the wedding cake, the bride’s aunt was able to secure a baker at the last minute. She found Melissa with ME Designs, a local baker who created an incredible and very delicious cake.

The wedding day was filled with so much emotion along with a major sense of relief that this day was actually happening. From the vendors who really stepped up their game to ensure a flawless execution to the couple’s families who really helped make the day a total success.

We loved that the Mother of the bride, friends, and other family members who created a beautiful dessert platter of Russian desserts to the incredible arbor made by the Father of the Bride to the groom who designed the perfect sweetheart table. Shane even had a surprise in store for is new wife when he showed her that he branded their table which now sits in their dining room with a personal brand of their initials and wedding date.

One of the best parts of the day was being able to have the ceremony outside. Originally, we thought there would be no way we could have anything other than an indoor wedding, but as we got closer to the wedding the weather started to look promising and we made the final decision at the rehearsal to indeed move outside which proved to be a beautiful addition to the day.

I am so happy that Christina + Shane had the wedding of their dreams. No matter the smaller guest count (the entire day was also live-streamed), the day was truly beautiful and what Christina and Shane said they could have ever hoped for.

I had the privilege of meeting Kyle and Kendall at the beginning of the year at the annual Kelley Farm Bridal Showcase, along with their moms by their side. I could never forget how happy they were together, and Kendall's beautiful, bright smile that filled the room. I was beyond thrilled when I got the call to help them plan their winter wonderland wedding, because, from day one, I knew they would be such an extraordinary and lovable couple to work with. Along with being very, very organized in all of their details, their strong faith and family played a big part in planning and executing their dream wedding. With the passing of Kendall's late father, it was very important that we honored him throughout their wedding, so everyone, especially Kendall could feel his presence more than ever. Kyle and Kendall wanted to keep his spirit close in their hearts while celebrating their marriage with those friends and family most special to them during the holiday season. Keeping it intimate, rustic and yet festive, with Christmas trees, strands of greenery garlands and wreaths, the ambiance of lights and candles galore, along with the warmth of the fireplace, brought holiday cheer to all. It was such a beautiful way to close out the holidays while ringing in the new year as a married couple! The weather is so unpredictable in late December, we were preparing for the possibility of rain or maybe even snow, but it truly couldn't have been more glorious! As the golden rays of the sun radiated on the farm, our hearts filled with joy as we felt Kendall's dad looking down from above, shining the beautiful glow upon his daughter for her special day.

From the tears of joy and love, to fill their bellies with delicious food and abundance of laughter, Kyle and Kendall savored every moment with their loved ones. As a thank you and toast, guests were presented with Kyle and Kendall’s very own brewed Dark Ale in specially made bottles labeled with their engagement photo. Once their guests finished up the tasty beverage, Kendall, her mom, along with her brothers paid a special tribute to her late father by putting on Ray Bans and busting a move with a celebratory dance to "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis & The News. It was the perfect song and the most memorable moment between their family! Whether their guests continued the celebration into the night with a round or two of limbo, or indulging in ice cream sundaes, everyone, especially Kyle and Kendall had a night to remember. I had so much fun getting to know this wonderful couple and enjoyed being a part of such an amazing day. A fall romantic wedding was the perfect recipe for Cambre + Jesse’s fall nuptials. And everything about this day at The Kelley Farm was just perfection.

What we loved most about this wedding was how family was the key to its success. From the couple’s two young daughters who served as the flower girls to the bride’s sister making all the desserts. Just two of the many signs just how loved these two are.

The weather could not have been more perfect for these two and their photographs by Kailey were just breathtaking really utilizing everything their venue had to offer.

From the candles to the flowers, the couple was super intentional about using the season into their design which made it the perfect fall PNW wedding.
